HuskyNet安全

The HuskyNet安全 wireless network covers every building on campus, including residence halls.

Campus buildings are in the process of being upgraded from 802.11n到802.11ac无线连接. 这次升级将为校园社区提供:

For devices that do not support the HuskyNet安全 network, they may be able to connect using the scsugadgets network.

eduroam

Before traveling to another eduroam-participating institution, we recommend signing onto eduroam at your home campus with each device you will be using, 确保一切正常.

St. 云州 faculty, staff and students should continue to use HuskyNet安全 while on campus. 如果你最近访问过其他机构, 使用eduroam, and are now having trouble accessing resources on our campus make sure that you are connected to HuskyNet安全 and not eduroam.

SCSU公共(公共WiFi)

SCSU_Public网络对所有St. 云州 visitors to access the Internet while on-campus, including St. 云州 at Plymouth, Alnwick and the Minnesota Highway Safety Research Center. 访问ors may use this network at no charge by entering their first and last name. This network is rate-limited and does not have access to campus resources.

Other devices can cause interference that can affect your wireless signal. 常用设备包括:

Simply moving these items around a room could help improve your signal. If you find that your signal is still unsatisfactory, use the report weak coverage form.

St. 云州 has several hundred wired access plug-ins, 也称为开放数据插孔, which provide campus laptop users with the ability to plug in and use SCSU network resources and the Internet.

ResNet是校园网的延伸, which provides residence halls with access to the Internet. Data jacks and wireless coverage are available in all individual rooms and common areas.

St. 云州 offers faculty and staff secure access to campus files and resources while off-campus through VPN. 你可以进入内部圣. 云州 services however, you will not be able to access web sites that are outside the St. 云状态域.

• Use the VPN connection only on your state owned managed device that you trust and are familiar with.
• Do not allow your web browser to save the passwords of any internal St. 您正在访问的云状态网站.
• Do not allow others to use your computer while the VPN connection is active. Make sure you disconnect from the VPN when you are finished.

The standard offering for phone service on campus is Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging. This enables users to retrieve voice and email messages from their individual mailbox using their telephone, Outlook或通过Outlook 365在线.
