St. Cloud State Library

The Library offers various services for your research needs, including articles, databases, and streaming media.

Campus Card (Photo ID)

Campus Cards are required for printing or when requesting materials from the Library. Students who cannot go to Campus Card Services in St. Cloud to obtain their photo ID card may submit a request electronically following these directions--

Before beginning, please be prepared to upload your photo which meets these specifications:

  • JPEG format, color photo (no black and white)
  • No larger than 1200 x 1600 pixels
  • At least 600 x 800 pixels
  • Photo must be from the top of the shoulders to the top of the head, with some blank space above the head
  • Looking straight ahead (no profile or angle)
  • No hats, caps, scarves, or sunglasses
  • No animals or props
  • Solid white background
  • A straight face or smile, no funny faces, please
  1. Go to www.somechan.net/campuscard/
  2. Click on Upload a Photo For Your Campus Card (upper-right red box)
  3. Click on Account Management (upper-right red box)
  4. In the Access myHuskyNet box, login with your Star ID and password.
  5. On your account page, left column, click on Photo Upload.
  6. Read the terms and conditions, and click on the red Agree button.
  7. On the photo upload page, insert your e-mail address, and select Plymouth for your campus. Then browse your electronic device for your photo, and click the upload button. If your photo meets the above-listed specifications, it will be accepted. You may be directed to crop your photo or make another adjustment to comply. Follow the directions.

When your card is received at St. Cloud State at Plymouth, you will receive an e-mail notification, and your Campus Card will be stored until you pick it up or other arrangements are made. 

Environmental Safety and Health

Severe Weather/Winter Closings/Emergencies

St. Cloud State makes every effort to announce any closing/cancellation by 5 a.m. for day classes/events and before 3 p.m. for evening classes/events in Plymouth.

Weather and emergency announcements are made through campus-wide Star Alerts and are posted to St. Cloud State’s homepage.
